About the Role
We are a small, growing robotics business looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy “robot person” to support both our digital operations and robot deployment activities.
This is a varied role combining website management, email campaigns, robotics support, and customer-facing event work. During quieter periods you will focus on digital tasks; during busier periods you will be hands-on with robots, customer projects, and live events.
There may also be occasional opportunities to work abroad for international events, projects, or supplier visits.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Website Support
Update and maintain a WordPress website
Add and manage new products and content
Support website updates during quieter operational periods
Understand how email systems integrate with websites and campaigns
Email Campaigns & Outreach
Build and manage email campaigns using tools such as:
Apollo
Snov
Other outreach and campaign platforms
Maintain and clean contact lists
Support planning, running, and improving campaigns
Robotics & Technical Support
Prepare, test, and maintain robots
Support basic electronics and mechanical troubleshooting
Assist with:
Sensors
Android-based robot software
Robot setup and configuration
Develop knowledge of:
Collaborative robots
Autonomous robots
Human–robot interaction
Customer, Events & Onsite Work
Attend customer sites and live events
Run robots during demonstrations and events
Speak with customers about projects and robot capabilities
Represent the business professionally onsite
Travel within the UK and occasionally abroad
Travel & Practical Requirements
Age 25+ (van insurance requirement)
Willing to travel for events and projects
Own car preferred
Comfortable working independently
Happy working in a small, fast-moving business
Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong interest or background in robotics
Comfortable with both hardware and software
WordPress experience (adding products and content)
Understanding of email campaigns and outreach tools
Willingness to learn and take responsibility
Confident communicating with customers
Desirable
Android software experience
Electronics or mechanical repair experience
Previous exposure to robots, automation, or sensors
Marketing or digital campaign experience
Event or customer-facing technical roles
Personal Attributes
