You will help us design and develop training programmes to meet the needs of GreenThumb. This will include induction training, upskilling, new services and products, customer service and selling skills, refresher training and personal development.

About the role

Your role as L&D Trainer Officer is to develop and deliver training for our company colleagues and franchise employees, develop knowledge and practical skills to succeed in their job roles, give excellent service to our customers and motivate them to achieve their objectives and targets.

We use a blended learning approach to enhance and develop employee skills using:

Webinar training session
eLearning course
Videos
Classroom training
You must have the ability to develop people skills through classroom and online webinar training sessions, with good presentation and communication skills.

You will need the ability to develop training and to help people develop their customer service and sales skills, as well as other key job role skills.

We use eLearning and other media to deliver training. You will need to have good creative skills to develop effective graphics, videos and media to engage learners, along with high levels of proficiency using the written word.

We will, of course, support you in this role, and our colleagues with specialist content knowledge will be expected to contribute to the content production required for each of our training modules.

Our training covers everything from technical training, customer service and sales skills, operational management and marketing, systems training and everything you might expect to see in a well-run and managed business delivering services to customers in their own homes.

UK travel will be required to deliver training at regional locations, to meet with our Branch Operations Managers and our franchise partners, to gather research information and help with related projects.
