Summary
We now have an opportunity for a Senior Education Support Worker to join our Sense College in Loughborough.
As a Senior Education Support Worker at Sense College you will be working with a small group of students aged 16-25 with a range of learning, sensory and physical disabilities. The successful candidate will work as part of the employment programme, working with students supporting them on work placements, employability sessions and careers activities. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing team where you will play a pivotal role in supporting students in reaching their aspirational goals.
This role will be a one year fixed term, full time role working 22.5 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday- Friday, for 39 weeks per year (term time).

Your required skills and experiences;
Hold or willing to work towards Level 3 Award in Education and Training
Experience in teaching environment
Have an understanding of the needs of young people with a range of special education needs
Ability to use assessment to plan and review learning
Ability to support students with positive behavioural support
Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths is an essential requirement for this role.
