We are hiring. Happy Shack is looking to expand our team.
Happy Shack is a Breakfast and after school club also providing some holiday care. To work with us you must be able to work as part of a team, to provide excellent care for the children.
As part of the team, you will be expected to support the day-to-day organisation of the breakfast and snack times. Help with planning and supporting play, ensure the children are safe and assist with their general welfare. Ensure you encourage good table manners and eating habits. Promote/reinforce Self-esteem and embrace our differences.
Essentials:
* Minimum level 2 in Childcare/Play work.
* Provide stimulating/challenging Play.
* Communicate effectively.
* Have some experience working with 3-11year olds.
* Meet the needs of every child.
* Be committed to support all children.
* Help provide equal opportunities to all.
* Willing to process a DBS check.
Desirables
* Knowledge of Health and Hygiene.
* Paediatric first aid.
* Some previous experience in administration.
* Valid driving license
* IT skills.
* Level 3 in Childcare/Play work.
