Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of social workers, providing support and guidance in day-to-day operations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate therapeutic programs tailored to meet the needs of clients with diverse mental health challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention to clients in acute situations.
Monitor and review client progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
Provide training and mentorship for junior staff and interns to enhance their professional development.
Engage with external agencies and community organizations to strengthen referral pathways and support networks for clients.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid social work license or registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mental health care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proven skills in crisis management and conflict resolution, with a compassionate approach to client care.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £31.71
