• Focusing on improving equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, and embedding engineering best practices across the site
• Drive maintenance improvement initiatives focused on reducing unplanned downtime and improving OEE
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify repeat failures, losses, and reliability risks
• Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure sustainable corrective actions are implemented
• Lead a planned, predictive, and reliability-centred maintenance engineering approach, ensuring our engineering teams have the systems, routines, and skills needed to perform
• Support the transition from reactive to planned and predictive maintenance strategies
• Embed autonomous maintenance routines.
• Develop and use Autonomous Maintenance routines integrating with production operations
• Improve CMMS effectiveness

What You’ll Bring - Site Engineering Reliability & Maintenance Leader

• Proven experience in maintenance reliability, maintenance improvement, or asset care within FMCG or high-volume process or manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of RCM, RCA, and lean maintenance methodologies
• Experience using CMMS systems (e.g. SAP PM, Maximo, Mainsaver or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical engineering actions

What We Offer - Engineering Reliability & Maintenance Leader

• The opportunity to work within a world-class manufacturing environment as a Manager / Leader of this function, a key stakeholder management and influencing role, and a technical Subject Matter Expert for Maintenance
• Exposure to global engineering standards, tools, and best practices
• Development plan to move to more senior engineering leadership roles
• A culture focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and sustainability
• Clear development and career progression opportunities
• Competitive salary and excellent benefits package including £5 – 7k bonus potential
• The chance to influence how the factory performs by embedding sustainable maintenance excellence

If you’re a qualified senior reliability maintenance engineer or maintenance leader who thrives on improving reliability, reducing losses, and raising standards in manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you. You will be a maintenance and reliability leader to take ownership of a large site’s asset care strategy and continue building a high-performing, proactive maintenance culture.
