About The Role

Support Worker -Ty Galan, Porth

Full Time | £12.60–£12.80 per hour | 40.25 hours per week

At Ty Galan, we support and nurture the young people in our care while they transition into adulthood. We’re looking for caring, energetic people who want to make a real difference — and don’t mind getting stuck in!

What you’ll do:

- Support young people’s emotional and physical wellbeing, including personal care.
- Be a positive role model and promote independence.
- Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
- Help take children to and from school and activities using company vehicles.
- Keep accurate records and help maintain a warm, supportive home.

What you’ll need:

- A caring nature, resilience, and great communication.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting young people with transport to school, appointments, and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
- No experience needed — just passion, patience, and commitment!
