What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you passionate about supporting children at the very start of their learning journey?Kings Ash Academy is looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our welcoming and inclusive primary school community.
We have various positions available, including fixed-term and casual roles, based within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
• Support class teachers with the teaching, learning, and welfare of pupils in the EYFS phase.
• Work closely with children, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and additional educational needs.
• Help to create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
The standard hours for this role are 33.5 hours per week. Variations to working hours may be discussed at interview for the right candidate.
