Job Summary
As a Nursery Assistant, you will contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children, maintain accurate records of children's achievements, collaborate with parents/carers, support staff, adhere to company policies and procedures, safeguard children, and liaise with parents/carers.

RequirementsEnthusiasm for working with young children; interest in their care, learning, and development; commitment to providing high-quality childcare; positive approach to learning and teamwork; previous experience of caring for or working with children (voluntary or paid); understanding of Early Learning Goals; knowledge of National Standards for the regulation of childcare provision; good organisational, record-keeping, and planning skills; excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, and parents/carers; patience, reliability, and trustworthiness; positive approach to inclusive practice; flexibility to adapt to changing working hours occasionally.
Qualification/EducationLevel 2 Childcare qualification (or working towards completion). Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
