We are looking for a reliable, physically fit Mix Room Operator to join a small production team. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role within a fast‑paced food production environment. The role involves regular lifting, manual handling, and standing for long periods. You will also need to be flexible to start work early, sometimes from 5:00am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and mix batches according to recipes and production specifications
  • Operate and monitor mix room machinery and equipment safely
  • Ensure correct sequencing and timing of ingredients to meet quality standards
  • Use handheld devices and online systems to record batch data, stock usage, and production activity
  • Complete all required production documentation accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness of the mix room, tanks, and equipment in line with hygiene and food safety standards
  • Carry out cleaning, flushing, and sanitising procedures between batches
  • Organise materials and prepare mixes to support the following day's production
  • Work closely with production and bottling teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime
  • Take ownership of the mix room area once fully trained

What We're Looking For:

  • Physically capable of manual handling and lifting, as the role is physically demanding
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent with a strong work ethic
  • Able to follow recipes, instructions, and procedures accurately
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Well‑organised and proactive, especially when planning ahead
  • High attention to detail to meet quality, safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Comfortable using digital systems and handheld devices

Working Hours:

During training: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 1:30pm (approx. 2 months)

After training: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay Rate:
