Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Calibration Test Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our equipment and systems.

This is a full-time, on-site position with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Calibration Test Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to calibration processes.
• Maintaining accurate records of calibration activities and generating detailed reports.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of calibrated equipment into operations.
• Continuously improving calibration processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in calibration technologies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• The Test Engineer will have Proven experience in a calibration or similar engineering role.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related field are desirable.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine calibration checks and adjustments on equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving any discrepancies or faults in calibration.
• Documenting calibration results and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaising with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Participating in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
