Summary

Practice Nurse – Stretford (Primary Care Focused)

Location: Stretford, Manchester
Hours: Full-time / Part-time options available
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Why This Role Stands Out

We’re looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who wants to take their career to the next level in a supportive, forward-thinking practice. This isn’t just another GP surgery — this is a place where your clinical expertise, ideas, and professional growth are valued.

Ideal for candidates with primary care experience who want autonomy, variety, and a chance to make a real difference in their community.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across long-term condition reviews, immunisations, minor procedures, and health promotion.

  • Work autonomously, managing your own patient caseload while collaborating with GPs, ACPs, and the wider clinical team.

  • Support service development, audits, and quality improvement projects, helping shape how the practice delivers care.

  • Provide holistic care across the patient population — from children to the elderly, including chronic and complex conditions.

    What We Offer

    • Career Development & CPD: Access to training, mentorship, and progression opportunities.

    • Supportive Team Culture: Join a multidisciplinary team where your contribution is recognised and valued.

    • Flexible Working: Full-time or part-time options to suit your lifestyle.

    • Modern Facilities: Equipped clinical rooms and IT systems (SystmOne) for efficient care delivery.

    • Impactful Work: Directly improve patient outcomes in a busy, diverse, and rewarding community.

      Who We’re Looking For

      • Registered NMC nurse with primary care experience.

      • Skilled in chronic disease management, immunisations, minor procedures, and health promotion.

      • Confident working independently and managing your own patient caseload.

      • Strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

      • Motivated to contribute to service development and practice growth.

        Why Apply Through Us?

This is your chance to join a practice that values its nurses as clinical leaders, invests in your professional development, and provides variety and autonomy every day. Candidates with primary care experience will feel immediately supported while having the opportunity to grow and specialise.
