Summary

Room Leader (Level 3) – Teddington – £32,000 – Permanent

The role is based in the baby room of a bright, spacious nursery in central Teddington, a short walk from the station. You will lead the room team, supporting daily practice and maintaining high standards, while contributing to a safe and engaging environment for young children.

What You’ll Need

Essential

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
  • Ability to lead a team and manage day-to-day operations confidently

Desirable

  • Additional training in leadership, SEND, or safeguarding

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support the baby room team to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Plan and implement activities that support early learning and development
  • Observe, assess, and report on children’s progress and wellbeing
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • Support staff development and daily operational decisions
