The Role:
The Engineering Department is looking for a dedicated Programme Leader in Engineering (Automotive / Mechanical Engineering) to lead and inspire our engineering provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide curriculum development, foster academic excellence, and shape the future of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering education at one of the UK’s leading colleges.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Programme Leader in Engineering, you will play a central role in delivering and leading high-quality teaching and curriculum design within Automotive and Mechanical Engineering. Key responsibilities include:

Leading curriculum design, development, and delivery to ensure an exceptional student learning experience across Automotive and Mechanical Engineering programmes.
Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of engineering courses, including monitoring quality indicators such as attendance, retention, and success.
Developing learning resources and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes in both digital and face-to-face environments.
Engaging in interviews, Open Days, and curriculum events to promote Automotive and Mechanical Engineering programmes.
Contributing to the engineering academic community by staying current in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering and sharing knowledge through research and professional practice.
