Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Norton College, Worcester, WR5 2BA
Salary: £39,000 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time only
Start: January 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our growing team and contribute to shaping the next chapter of our school’s journey. In this role, you will design and deliver personalised, imaginative lessons that engage pupils and foster curiosity, resilience, and independence. You will work closely with a supportive team of teaching and support staff to ensure that every child’s learning, wellbeing, and holistic development are prioritised.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for pupils with complex SEN and ASC needs
Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and safe
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to support academic, social, and emotional growth
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, pastoral care, and wellbeing
Support the school’s ethos of creativity, collaboration, and celebrating every learner’s achievements
Person Specification

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised degree
Experience teaching pupils with SEN/ASC
Passionate, creative, and committed to inclusive education
Calm, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
