You’ll work collaboratively with partner agencies and use your professional judgment to deliver solutions that promote dignity, independence, and empowerment. Every decision you make will have a lasting impact on improving lives and shaping safer futures.
What you’ll do
• Respond to urgent referrals, assess risks and needs, and implement safeguarding actions.
• Deliver person-centred interventions that promote independence and positive outcomes.
• Liaise effectively with partner agencies and share information appropriately to safeguard adults.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce clear reports to support decision-making.
• Contribute to a supportive, reflective team culture and continuous service improvement.
What we’re looking for
• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults in a UK-based statutory setting.
• Strong communication, mediation and negotiation skills; confident report writing.
• Ability to assess risk, analyse information and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding, legal frameworks, equality, and data protection.

Please note: This is a 24/7 service. You’ll work a shift pattern including early, late and sleep-in shifts, every other weekend and Bank Holidays, with enhancements paid in line with Hampshire County Council salary policy.
