As a Data and Systems Administrator in our J&I team, you will support workforce planning, data management, and reporting at Yarl’s Wood IRC. The role is key to ensuring accurate workforce data, supporting operational decision-making, and maintaining contractual compliance, while promoting a safe, respectful, and professional working environment.
What you’ll do as a Data and Systems Administrator
- Maintain and manage the Time2Work workforce management system, ensuring accuracy of staff schedules, attendance, absence, and overtime data.
- Produce regular workforce and performance reports (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly).
- Develop staffing forecasts aligned to operational needs and KPI targets.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with organisational policies.
- Liaise with HR, Operations, and Finance teams to support workforce planning and performance.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide guidance to managers and staff on system usage.
Does this sound like you?
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent data analysis skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret workforce data and forecast trends.
- Strong communication skills for presenting reports and insights.
- Experience with workforce management systems is desirable.
- Power BI experience is an advantage.
Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
