Summary
Job Description Main Responsibilities Clinical Practice Undertake comprehensive advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with MSK conditions. Provide evidencebased treatment plans including exercise prescription, handson therapy where appropriate, education and selfmanagement strategies. Identify red flags and serious pathology, promptly referring to GP or secondary care. Order and interpret diagnostic investigations within scope (e.g. Xray, MRI, ultrasound) Manage complex patients, exercising advanced clinical reasoning and autonomous decisionmaking. Patient Management Act as a first point of contact for MSK issues, providing timely and effective care. Develop personalised care plans and explain conditions in a patientcentered manner. Ensure high-quality of consultation notes into patients records. Collaboration and MultiDisciplinary Work Work collaboratively with GPs, the wider practice team to optimise care pathways. Provide specialist advice to colleagues and contribute to MDT discussions. Service Development & Governance Participate in quality improvement, audit, clinical governance and service evaluation. Support development and implementation of protocols, pathways and best practice guidelines. Teaching & Leadership Provide informal training, mentoring, and supervision to colleagues and trainees within the Practice. Contribute to education and training initiatives within the practice. Compliance & Standards Adhere to HCPC and CSP professional standards, practice/PCN policies and national clinical guidance.
