An exciting opportunity has arisen within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) in one of our senior leadership roles as an Associate Director of Operations.
The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of the services within Secure and Offender Health operational portfolio, as well as working across our Trust, the Reach Out Provider Collaborative and our wider Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System.
As a senior leader within our organisation, you will be an active member of our Trust senior leadership forum, will work closely with other divisions, corporate colleagues and the Executive team to drive forward our strategic priorities to ensure the effective delivery of services. Whilst living true to our Trust values, the post holder will be responsible and accountable for operational delivery and leadership of services to service users in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints.
The role will require the post holder to build relationships and work with key players within the provider collaborative, our commissioners and regulators, Local Authorities, and our Voluntary Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE)organisations. The post holder will be expected to drive and develop new ways of working and implement new models of care that improves the service users experience and outcomes. You will be expected to lead through our Trust values of Compassion, Inclusive and Committed and must also be committed to supporting the Trusts ambition in establishing and becoming an anti-racist organisation.
We require our senior leaders to be highly motivated, work well with teams and with our service users, leads by example, has very strong operational experience, be solution focused, brings transformational skills and have the ability to drive change, improve performance and take people with them. You will be an integral member of a senior operational management team driving service development, improving productivity, service transformation and reconfiguration of services that has the ethos of co-production.
