Provide resilient leadership and management to the Governance & Assurance team
As Company Secretary, make sure GCH has a robust approach in the delivery of governance arrangements
Ensure the risk management framework is robust and supports the delivery of GCH’s strategic aims
Work with colleagues, ensure that GCH meets all its regulatory and statutory requirements
Create effective and collaborative partnerships with colleagues across GCH, including our Board

About you and the role...

We’re looking for someone who can lead and develop the Governance & Assurance team, providing an excellent service to our Board, GCH colleagues and our stakeholders. You’ll most likely have experience of working in social housing governance and understand the issues of working in a regulated environment.

You’ll give confident and clear leadership whilst you motivate, encourage and challenge your team to take ownership of their work and make a difference. In addition, you will hold a relevant professional qualification and have relevant leadership or management qualifications and experience.
