Summary

Warehouse Operative

Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in the outskirts of the Basingstoke area. This will involve general warehouse work, this role would be suitable for the right candidate who wants consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic IT skills
• Numeracy and literacy skills for stock check
• Attention to detail

Details:

• Salary: £13.50ph
• Working hours: 9am to 5pm - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Location: Basingstoke
• Duration: Temp to perm

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

• Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
• Storing stock in designated location
• Completing basic paperwork or system updates related to warehouse tasks
• Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks and Forklifts - full training given)
• Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse
