We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching & Learning Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in the Matlock area. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to children and young people aged 4-19, primarily supporting learners with Autism, ADHD, and associated learning needs.
The school specialises in supporting pupils with High-Functioning Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and sensory impairments, including visual and hearing needs. The setting benefits from a strong multi-disciplinary approach, with on-site Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists working collaboratively to support each pupil's individual development.
As a SEND Teaching & Learning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils on their journey towards independence. Working closely with teaching staff and specialist professionals, you will help create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This is a highly fulfilling opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people to grow, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.
