This is a great opportunity to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team at our Ilkeston site. In this hands-on production role, you’ll be an important part of the team, working from drawings and measurements to manufacture prefabricated steel to customer specifications, while maintaining high quality standards throughout.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, using a range of tools including callipers and angle grinders, and carrying out manual welding using MIG/MAG equipment. This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their output, and is comfortable working to deadlines.
Previous experience within a manufacturing or construction environment is essential. You should be able to read basic technical drawings and have a good understanding of health and safety on the shop floor, along with solid knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and materials. Training will be provided on additional equipment such as forklift trucks and overhead gantry cranes.
