What skills and experience we're looking for
Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with the Local Monitoring Committee of Threemilestone School, are seeking to appoint a committed teaching assistant to work with our children with SEND in our youngest classes. We are a school which strongly believes in the education of the whole children, and being part of something special is crucial to develop the whole team's sense of belonging. Working alongside highly skilled staff having regular bespoke training, who have highest expectations of all children, encourages professional growth and teamwork, which is something as a school we really value.
The role will also include supporting our wraparound care provision. You will play a key role in ensuring our students start their morning with a nutritious meal and end their school day with engaging activities.
About You:
You will have a child-centered approach, and will contribute towards a creative, inclusive environment for all children to succeed. You will be calm, patient and show initiative with a problem-solving approach, being curious about learning differences and behaviours. You will be willing to take on new training and learn new skills, able to work as a team.
