Job Overview:
As a Technician 2, you'll be responsible for setting up desktop hardware and peripherals as part of IT roll out projects. This role involves on-site work, basic technical tasks, and excellent customer service, making it perfect for someone who enjoys practical, structured work in dynamic environments.

- Salary: PAYE - £14.90/hr (Basic) and UMB - £19.34/hr
- Contract Length: 2 Months
- Start Date: 19-Jan-26
- End Date: 31-Mar-26
- Shift Time: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30
Key Responsibilities
- Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution.
- Installation Technicians will typically un-box and install the kit to the desk, connect peripherals, connect cables (e.g. power and network) and perform any relevant power self-tests. Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required.
- Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires.
Key Requirements
- Upkeep of system records, principally ServiceNow
- Strict adherence to procedures, scripts and polices is a must.
- Flexibility of working days will be required, though minimal, with notice.
