This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist school setting while making a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

Located in West Cross, Swansea, Dan Y Coed School provides a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children with autism and complex needs. Just minutes from Swansea Bay and the city centre, our school offers a calm, child-friendly setting supported by a passionate team of educators, care staff, and therapists. Our aim is to help every pupil feel valued, respected, and confident in being themselves.

- Assisting with daily routines, breaks, and personal care where required
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

- Experience with SEN/ASD is welcomed but not essential – full training and support will be provided
- A positive team-player with strong communication skills

Please note: This role involves working with children in a regulated activity and requires an Enhanced DBS Check including a Barred List Check.

What You’ll Get in Return

- Funded qualifications and clear progression opportunities
- Health Plan available after probation
- Blue Light Card – access to exclusive discounts
- Refer a Friend scheme – earn up to £1,000

If you’re looking for a rewarding fixed-term role with the chance to extend, and want to be part of a school that truly changes lives, we’d love to hear from you.
