We are looking for nurturing and friendly Support Workers to join the Team at Sense Scotland. This is more than a job - it’s your chance to make a difference within your community by the work you do, supporting individuals to lead the most fulfilling life possible.
You will work directly with adults, who have complex communication and sensory needs, supporting them to enjoy their chosen activities like going out to lunch, meeting friends, going to the gym/swimming or simply taking a walk. You will work closely with individuals to help develop life skills such as communication, social interaction skills and their independence. In their homes you will support with personal care, assist with meal preparation, medication administration and household tasks like cleaning and laundry.
Once you start your journey with Sense Scotland, you will receive the best possible support whist you navigate your way through your first weeks and beyond. On offer is one-to-one on the job training, in-house face to face training with our experts and the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge through our e-learning packages.
Available hours and shift patterns:
Current vacancies extend to part time (up to 35 hours per week) and relief hours.
You’ll work a variety of shifts on a rota system, including:

This flexibility ensures we can meet the needs of the people we support, while giving you a role where no two days are the same.
