Co-ordinator – Out of School Care
Location: Banff
Service: Education and Children’s Services
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Out of School Care Co-ordinator to lead and manage our established childcare service for primary-aged children. This is a rewarding role for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, including leading and supervising staff, planning and delivering a varied programme of activities, and ensuring compliance with National Care Standards and Care Commission regulations. You will work closely with a parent advisory committee, manage administration tasks such as attendance records, fees, and snack provision, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Applicants should have experience working with children in a supervisory capacity and demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (or willingness to achieve this) is essential, along with a commitment to ongoing training and development. We actively support professional development and will contribute towards relevant training and qualifications.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to children, families, and the wider community.
