As Housekeeping Team Leader, you’ll lead with empathy, integrity, and responsibility, ensuring your team upholds high standards of cleanliness and care. Your strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail will motivate and guide your team, creating a welcoming environment where residents feel valued, safe, and comfortable. By fostering a positive, respectful atmosphere, you’ll ensure both staff and residents feel well cared for.

What You’ll Bring

· Lead with empathy, ensuring your team and residents feel respected and at ease
· Experienced in leading teams, motivating and supervising staff to deliver outstanding service
· Knowledge of maintaining high cleanliness and laundry standards within the care sector
· Confident with administrative tasks such as rota management, stock control, and accurate record-keeping
· Proactive and quick to resolve issues, ensuring the home runs smoothly
· Proactive problem-solver, ensuring smooth operations across the home
· Committed to infection control, with experience or willingness to learn more about this area



About the Role

As Housekeeping Team Leader, you’ll oversee the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and order across the home, including resident rooms and communal spaces. You’ll manage daily cleaning schedules, oversee laundry services and ensure all health, safety and infection control procedures are followed. Additionally, you’ll handle rota planning, staff training and ensure your team is equipped with the resources they need to succeed. As the Infection Prevention and Control Link, you’ll also drive infection control efforts and manage deep cleans to maintain a safe and comfortable home for all residents.
