Are you a Registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist looking to join a dynamic and creative multidisciplinary team across a region of small residential and complex care services for adults with learning disabilities and/or who are autistic? Whether you are currently a Senior, Principal or Consultant Psychologist, come and join our regional team to be a significant part of promoting the quality of life of the people we support; in our impressive residential and complex care services that meet transforming care priorities. Working 37.5 hours per week with flexible working arrangements, you will lead the development of psychology services across the Midlands region (Lincoln, Nottingham, Mansfield, Newcastle-under-Lyme) and oversee a cluster of smaller services within Yorkshire and Humber (currently Grimsby, Rotherham, and Barnsley). You will receive supervision and support from the Regional Clinical Director, will have the support of an Assistant Psychologist, and will also provide supervision to the Qualified Psychologists within an inpatient service. As a Registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, you will have experience of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS for those with LD) and Trauma informed Care (TIC) and the provision of specialist assessment, formulation and interventions for people with Learning Disability and/or who are Autistic and may also have additional needs relating to their mental health. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team comprising Nursing & Care, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy and Dietetic. Supporting people with complex conditions, needs and risks who display behaviours of concern and pose challenges for services, including those with highly complex and severe challenging behaviour. With the number of Psychologists growing across Elysium, you will enjoy networking with other Registered and Assistant/Trainee grade Psychologists across the wider organisation. To be successful in this role, you'll need: Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Chartered status with the British Psychological Society Experience in working with adults with learning disability and complex needs, and autistic adults. Experience in using psychological models and theories to address a range of clinical and risk issues. Good knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and Trauma Informed Care. Where you will be working: Location: Bradley Road, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN37 0AA Bradley Complex Care is located in Bradley, Grimsby, and North East Lincolnshire. The location provides a more relaxed local environment than a busy inner-city setting to enable patients to engage in their therapeutic programme, thus increasing the pace of recovery and speeding up discharge. Bradley is just 90 minutes by car from York, Sheffield and Mansfield.
