You must have either a Level 2 BTEC Diploma or extended Diploma or equivalent qualification or have previous care experience or experience in a person-centred & public facing role. Please note - In line with the Education and Skills Act 2008, young people must remain in education or training until their 18th birthday. UHCW NHS Trust supports this through a range of apprenticeship opportunities, enabling you to earn while you learn within the NHS. If you are aged 1618, please consider applying via our Apprenticeship programmes Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW)-Band 2-£24,465 + enhancements. As a band 2 HCSW you must have previous experience of care or experience in working within a person-centred & public facing role or already hold a level 2 health and social care related qualification. Full and Part Time Posts available. The salary will be pro rata for part time staff. Successful applicants will be placed on a waiting list until a suitable vacancy becomes available in the Trust. The Recruitment Centre: If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an Interview with nursing teams from across the organisation. If you are successful at interview, and there isnt a current vacancy that meets your needs, well keep in touch and update you as jobs arise. If we are unable to allocate you to your requirements your application will be withdrawn. Recruiting to Values: To ensure that we provide world-class patient care, UHCW recruits people that can demonstrate the Trusts Values and Behaviours in their everyday life. Therefore, if you are invited to interview, you will be undertaking a Values Based Interview, which explores not only what you do but how and why you do it. Before applying, we encourage you to review the Trusts Values and Behaviours Framework and Values Based Recruitment Factsheet which can be accessed on the right side of this page under the job description. The Supporting Information Section in your application should therefore reflect your understanding of the Trusts Values and associated Behaviours. You will be expected to provide us with examples from work experience and/or personal life which demonstrate these values through your behaviour. For further details of the job role please see attached job description.
