Site Engineer
Right now, I'm looking for a Site Engineer to start in February 2026 for a role based in South West London. The project is a £50m new build school for the Department for Education (DFE). The project is completing at the end of this year and we're looking to get CV's to the client ASAP.
Once the engineering side of the project is complete you will then move into a package management role and assist in the delivery of external packages such as groundworks/landscaping/kerbing.
Currently the project is very early stages and the client has only just taken a presence however where it is an aggressive programme, we need someone asap to hit the ground running.
Requirements for the Site Engineer:
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- Knowledge of RC Frame
- Main contractor experience
Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out, surveying and dimensional control for site works
- Interpret and work from drawings, specifications and construction information
- Support day‑to‑day engineering activities on site
- Assist with planning and coordinating works to meet programme deadlines
- Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors and the wider project team
- Ensure works comply with quality standards, specifications and tolerances
- Maintain accurate site records, as‑built information and site diaries
- Arrange and monitor material testing and calibration of equipment
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Support the site management team with additional duties as required
