Summary

Duties
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients in their own homes with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Supporting clients in following their individual care plans to ensure their specific needs are met.
Communicating effectively with clients and their families to provide updates on care and well-being.
Driving clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.
Maintaining accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition using IT systems.
Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Adhering to health and safety regulations within the home care environment.


Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Previous experience in home care desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to drive and hold a valid UK driving licence is preferred for transportation to clients houses.
Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
