As the Learning and Development Manager you will be pivotal in shaping how people learn and grow across Karndean. You will be designing and delivering impactful learning initiatives that enhance leadership capability, improve management effectiveness, and embed a strong, sustainable learning culture throughout the organisation.
At the heart of the role, you will ensure that Karndean has the skills, behaviours, and capabilities needed to perform today and thrive in the future.
How You Will Contribute
We are looking for a Learning & Development professional to make a real impact at Karndean. In this role, you will:
- Drive Karndean's learning strategy & culture - deliver our L&D strategy, foster a culture of continuous learning, develop career pathways, and measure impact through learning analytics.
- Develop and empower our leaders - you will design and deliver management and Future Leaders programmes, provide coaching to managers and our talented colleagues, build leadership capability across the business, and equip managers with the tools and support to inspire, develop, and motivate their teams.
- Enhance skills, knowledge and impact - you'll design and deliver sales, technical, and functional training to boost knowledge, skills, and commercial impact, while tailoring programmes to close skill gaps. You'll manage the L&D budget, optimise learning platforms like LinkedIn Learning and People First, and ensure mandatory training is completed and tracked.
- Enable connected and inclusive teams - you'll lead DiSC behavioural workshops and embed insights into everyday learning to improve communication, collaboration, and team effectiveness. You'll also design and deliver EDI training to foster inclusion and support leaders in modelling inclusive behaviours.

What Will Make you Successful in This Role
- You are an experienced L&D professional with a proven track record in designing, delivering, and embedding leadership, management, sales, and behavioural development programmes.
- Confident in coaching leaders and talented colleagues to support growth and performance.
- Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and using data and insights to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Thrives in commercial and customer-facing environments, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experienced in leveraging digital learning platforms to deliver effective results.
- Highly driven, proactive, and passionate about people development.
- Inspires others, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
