Organisation Chart:
The role sits within the HR team and is based at ICTS HQ near Euston. The role is predominantly normal office working hours Monday to Friday with some flexibility based upon the requirements of the business.
The Main Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR and working as part of our busy HR team, the HR Business Partner will work closely with the divisional operational Aviation teams in England and Scotland to help implement the overall People strategy.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Developing meaningful and positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Working as a trusted partner to operational stakeholders and providing comprehensive guidance to operational managers on all aspects of HR
- Ownership of all employee relations activity within the area of responsibility
- Line management and professional development of HR Advisors
- Bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help the business deliver on its strategic goals
- Developing and implementing local people strategies to support the attraction, retention engagement and development of staff within the Aviation division in the UK
- Delivery of localised employee engagement and DEIB activities
- Ownership and delivery of HR projects such as TUPE transfers, restructuring and other change management topics
- Working with line managers on local training and development plans to support with both continuous improvement and succession planning
- Influencing people and business change initiatives and business opportunities at a strategic, tactical and implementation level, whilst providing practical advice and solutions emphasising the risks and benefits of alternative approaches
- Identification of trends and emerging needs, and addressing these in partnership with the relevant stakeholders
- Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency
- Ownership of all employee relations activity within the division
- Line management and professional development of HR Advisors

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience of working as an HR Business Partner within a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Great communication skills, the ability to build great working relationships and represent the HR department positively
- Excellent employee relations skills, utilised in fast paced and complex environments
- Experience working with trade unions
- Good judgement, understanding of a highly operational business and solid commercial awareness
- Emotional intelligence
- Understanding of an outsourced environment
- Previous experience of working in a multi-site environment
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise numerous responsibilities in an often-changing environment
- Excellent of UK employment legislation and best practices
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyse data
- Experience in working in an agile organisation
- A positive attitude and a commitment to being part of a high performing team
- Line management experience
