A proudly independent small animal practice in a popular market town in the Borough of Dudley, West Midlands, is seeking an Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their small, friendly team. This is a unique opportunity for a vet who loves both surgery and consulting to work in a supportive, professional environment.
About the Practice
Run by dedicated vets, this independent practice focuses on providing honest advice, expert treatment, and compassionate care. The team includes a Vet with a surgical certificate, an experienced Vet with a mix of clinical expertise and a warm approach, an experienced part time vet and an exceptional nursing and support team.
The Rota
• Monday to Friday 9am–5pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am–12pm
• No OOH
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in small animal veterinary care
• Strong clinical and surgical skills
• Laboratory experience for diagnostics is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under pressure
• Compassionate, proactive, and organised with a genuine passion for animal welfare
