Graded ‘Outstanding’ in its recent OFSTED inspection, Kendrick School is a centre of academic excellence with a track record of high performance and achievement.


Required for September 2026, a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to cover a maternity leave at this successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading. Mathematics is taught throughout the school with a significant number of students choosing to study Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level and beyond. The extra-curricular opportunities, including a range of clubs, events and competitions, are extremely popular, and successful in their outcomes.


This position would suit either a recently qualified teacher or an experienced teacher. Kendrick School has a very good track record of developing ECTs and the successful candidate would be joining a supportive and experienced department.


Mathematics has a high profile within the school and achieves considerable success. It is a large department with experienced staff, where the students show a high degree of commitment to, and enthusiasm for their studies.
