SRL Traffic Systems is leading the way with REMOS, our innovative remote monitoring solution that transforms traffic control. By centralising operations in a secure control centre, we’re improving safety, reducing costs, and optimising traffic flow across regional networks.
We’re looking for proactive, tech-savvy individuals to register their interest in joining our REMOS Control Centre team in Solihull, with exciting plans to grow in 2026. This role may become available in the coming weeks, and we’ll contact suitable candidates when recruitment begins.
What does the role involve?
As a REMOS Control Centre Operator, you’ll:
Work 42.5 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns available
Monitor live traffic conditions using advanced tools, cameras, and real-time data feeds.
Respond quickly to congestion and incidents to keep traffic moving safely.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver efficient traffic management.
Analyse traffic data and contribute to continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
Strong computer skills and ability to interpret live data – if you like gaming, this could be the role for you!
Calm, decisive approach under pressure.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Previous control room experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
