Crynodeb
As one of the Urology/Gynae band 6s you would be expected to take turns (with the other practitioners) running the lists, scrubbing for large and small cases, supporting students and learners. Organising and liaising with other departments for smooth running of the Urology/Gynae lists. In this role you would step in, in the absence of the band 7, this includes co-ordinating the theatre department. You will also be supported to take on additional responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the lists and the operating department. Examples of these could include ordering implants, running audits or becoming the lead for a specific area such as infection control or moving and handling.
