To work as part of the UTC team at Halton hospital , seeing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed health problems; liaising with others to maintain and enhance a culture which promotes effective multidisciplinary team working within the organisation and across the wider health economy. To provide care and advice to clients utilizing evidence based practice to promote effective treatment and health promotion. Assess, plan and implement treatment plans using evidence based nursing care Acts as an a practitioner within agreed protocols guided by organisational policies and within scope of professional practice. Works under supervision in the provision of care to clients, accessing the knowledge and skills of the team leader as required. Act as a mentor to pre and post registration nurses, allied health professional and unqualified students. The post holder should demonstrate flexibility and be able to work across a range of shift patterns. Participates in the education, development and line management of other staff members Is an effective team player within the interdependent unit, operating flexibly across both units as required and recognizing the benefits of the integrated approach Eager to work within Minor Injuries and obtain Minor Injury and Illness qualifications to become an autonomous practitioner FULL JOB DESCRIPTION ATTACHED.
