Crynodeb

As a Cleaning & Clearance Supervisor of this newly formed team you will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient clear and clean service across the West Dunbartonshire area. This will involve organising rotas, health & safety checks, risk assessments and keeping accurate records of items uplifted and properties cleaned.

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 2-3 staff on house clearance and clean jobs. In addition, you will be required to drive the therefore a full, clean driving licence is required.

The work will be physically demanding with all furniture, white goods, carpets, electrically items and furnishings to be removed within set timescales for clients. Many of these items will be stored for further use this will need itemised. Once cleared, these properties require cleaned to a high standard and made good for new tenants to be rehomed.

Total Homes is focused on reuse and recycling therefore as many of the items that are removed from the void homes will be diverted from landfill. For this reason you will also be responsible for the sorting of items when back at the depot and taking care when removing items so that the maximum amount of items can be reused.

Skills Desired but not all Essential:

- Previous experience of team management or supervision

- Excellent organisational skills to organise rotas and maintaining records for uplifts

- Good communication skills to motivate team members and clients

- Basic computer skills to maintain systems for monitoring and recording of items

- Clean Driving Licence

- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively

- Relevant training/knowledge of Health & Safety, COSH, Lifting and Handling, Risk Assessments

- Previous experience within House Clearance/Clean service
