Summary
To support in maintaining a safe and secure nursery environment including following all safeguarding procedures
Support the children’s learning and development by participating in various activities, providing opportunities to extend interests and by encouraging and supporting access to activities and resources
To ensure the wellbeing of the children and follow the Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures where you have any concerns
To work as part of a team, attend all training sessions and keep on top of your own professional development
To take on a Key Person role, planning and providing exciting activities to support children's development and learning, recording information. Monitoring children's development
To report any concerns to senior staff
Care for children's personal hygiene needs
To support children during meal and snack time, encourage children to make healthy choices
To be fully aware of all Policies and Procedures and act upon these
To be observant and engaging at all times
To be a team member
To be flexible in your worth ethic
To attend staff supervision meetings and take part in Peer observations
To be fully compliant with our Health and Safety Guidelines
To have fun and enjoy your job role
