We are recruiting a Catering Assistant to support a professional corporate catering operation based in Edinburgh city centre. This is a structured, fast-paced environment where reliability and professionalism are essential.
Duties include:
Assisting with food preparation and service
Serving customers in a corporate dining environment
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and front-of-house areas
Following food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen procedures
Supporting the wider catering team as required
Requirements:
Previous catering or hospitality experience preferred
Basic food hygiene knowledge
Professional, reliable, and well presented
Able to work efficiently in a corporate environment
Compliance Requirements (Mandatory):
Right to Work in the UK (checked on induction)
Basic DBS check
Either:
Proof of employment history via the Government Gateway, or
An employment or character reference covering the last 12 months
