Experienced Conveyancer (Residential Property)
Location: North East (Durham / Sunderland) – office-based with flexibility
Salary: Competitive + benefits (DOE)
A well-established, highly regarded North East law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Property team. This is a proper “good desk, good people, plenty of work” opportunity – ideal if you want stability, support, and a sensible caseload.
The role
You’ll run your own files from start to finish, handling a mix of residential conveyancing matters, including:
- Sales and purchases (freehold/leasehold)
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New-build and shared ownership (if you’ve done it – not essential)
- Liaising with clients, agents and lenders to keep matters moving
What they’re looking for
- An experienced Conveyancer (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or
experienced Fee Earner)
- Confident managing files with minimal supervision
- Strong client care and a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable working in a team environment and supporting colleagues when
needed
What’s on offer
- A solid, long-term role with a steady pipeline of work
- Supportive team and approachable management
- Competitive salary and benefits package
