Autism Provision Support Assistant - SEND School

Are you driven to support young people with autism and additional needs? A specialist SEND school in Calderdale is currently seeking a dedicated Autism Provision Support Assistant to join their team. This role involves supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils within a specialist autism base and offers the chance to secure a permanent position for the right individual.

The Role

You will be based within the school's specialist autism provision, working closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Students have a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), learning difficulties, and, for some pupils, physical needs that require personal care.

Your focus will be on providing consistent, nurturing support to help students engage with learning, regulate emotions, and develop independence in a structured and supportive environment.

Experience supporting children or young people with autism and complex SEND (education or care settings considered)
