Summary
Secondary Tutor (1:1)
Our Secondary Tutors play a vital role in helping students who need extra support in core subjects. Every learners journey is unique, so we offer flexible hours to fit around your schedule and the chance to make a genuine, lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored one-to-one or small group lessons in Maths and English at secondary level.
Adapt lesson content and pace to suit different learning styles and abilities.
Support students in building subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
Establish a trusting, consistent rapport to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals as required.
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 1 years experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English at secondary level.
Experience working with learners in a 1:1 or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Qualifications
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
