SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Provision

We are currently recruiting a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Salford M6. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting pupils who all have EHCPs, within a classroom setting for children with Autism (ASD).

The school offers a highly structured, autism-friendly environment with a strong focus on sensory integration, emotional regulation and personalised learning. Pupils are supported to engage with learning in a way that meets their individual sensory and communication needs.

The Role:

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD in an SEN setting

Understanding of EHCPs and individualised support

Knowledge or experience of sensory integration approaches (desirable)

Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary SEN team
