We are looking for a passionate Weekend BreakfastChef to join our team at a site based in Gwent.This is a Saturday and Sunday morning role, perfect for someone who enjoysearly starts and takes pride in delivering a high-quality breakfast service.You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking fresh, well-presentedbreakfasts in a fast-paced but supportive environment, ensuring excellentstandards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction every weekend.
What you'll do:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality catering, vending, and hospitality services in line with dietary requirements, allergen controls, brand standards, and food safety regulations.
- Manage financial performance by controlling costs and overseeing purchasing, stock, payroll, and reporting systems, including eProphit.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent service, carrying out reviews, coaching, and performance management in line with company policies.
- Maintain outstanding standards of hygiene, health & safety, and statutory compliance, ensuring all due diligence and food safety documentation is completed accurately.
- Provide flexible operational support across the site, including covering holidays and sickness, attending training and meetings, and ensuring the security of facilities and company assets.
What you'll bring:
- Passionate about food and hospitality, with experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments. Formal qualifications are not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
- Confident using basic IT systems, with strong communication, time-management, and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, allergen awareness, and food safety standards, with a consistent focus on quality and presentation.
- A supportive team player who can lead by example, work well with others, and take responsibility for delivering high standards.
- Reliable and resilient, able to work calmly under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and respond positively to feedback.
