We are recruiting a Cleaner / Cleaning Operative to support a secure government site in Gateshead. This is a lone-working role and requires reliability, trust, and attention to detail.
Duties include:
General cleaning duties within a government building
Lone working in a secure environment
Locking and unlocking where required
Use of alarm panels where applicable
Use of a telephone-based time & attendance clocking system (mandatory)
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Comfortable with lone working and site security procedures
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Compliance Requirements (Mandatory):
Right to Work in the UK (checked on induction)
BPSS security clearance
Failure to provide valid Right to Work documentation on induction will result in the assignment being withdrawn.
This role is suitable for someone looking for consistent late-afternoon hours in a secure government working environment.
