Summary

Liability Claims Handler – Remote
£28,000 – £32,000

An opportunity to join a large, specialist Liability claims team within a well-established adjusting practice, offering fully remote working and clear long-term development.
The Role

- Manage your own caseload of Liability claims from start to finish
- Handle a mix of Employers’ Liability, Public/Personal Liability and Commercial claims
- Work alongside a senior Liability Adjuster on more complex and higher-value cases
- Gather and review evidence, including statements, documentation and policy cover
- Clearly explain liability decisions to customers in a fair, non-technical and unbiased manner
- Negotiate settlements and manage challenges to achieve timely resolution
- Liaise with third parties including solicitors, insurers and other stakeholders
- Work in line with client instructions, SLAs and internal KPIs

What You’ll Bring

- Experience within a claims environment, ideally with exposure to Liability claims
- Strong end-to-end caseload management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced, KPI-driven setting
- Good understanding or awareness of FCA regulations and Treating Customers Fairly
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Customer-focused mindset with a pragmatic approach to claims resolution

Qualifications & Development

- Insurance qualifications such as CII (desirable, not essential)
- Full study support available for professional development
- Clear progression opportunities, including development towards a field-based Adjuster role
